LaVista Police Seek Suspects in Homicide










La Vista Police are looking for the three men pictured above who are wanted for questioning in connection with the June 26th murder of 20 yr old Barquinen Young of Omaha that occurred at the Southfield Apartment complex in La Vista. Young was shot multiple times after being confronted by three men at the apartment complex at 7101 South 83rd Street during the early morning hours of June 26.

Detectives are searching for 23 yr old Mario D. Alford, 19 yr old Talon Lee, and 24 yr old Timothy J. Lee, all of Omaha. The investigation is on-going and anyone that may have information about this homicide is asked to call the LaVista Police at 331-1582 or Sarpy County Crimestoppers at 592-STOP (7867).

Investigators from the Sarpy County Major Case Investigation Team (MCIT), made up of detectives from La Vista/Papillion/Bellevue Police departments as well as the Sarpy Sheriffs Department and Nebraska State Patrol, are being assisted in the case by the Omaha Police Gang Unit.
