Upcoming Police Recruiting Event
Anyone who might like to be a police officer can learn more about the job this
Saturday. Morrow and Associates,
the recruiting firm which handles BPD's application process and testing, will host a "Meet and
Greet" event for any person interested in becoming a police officer. The event will take place
at 96th and Q in Omaha on the Hy-Vee parking lot, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Bellevue Police personnel will be on scene to answer any questions about a career
in law enforcement with our agency. "We are very appreciative of Morrow and Hy-Vee for organizing
such an event. It should be a great chance for future police officers to introduce themselves and
become familiar with the challenging hiring process," stated Lt Elbert.
Potential candidates will be able to register on site for the upcoming testing this
fall. At the moment the written exam and physical fitness testing is set for Saturday September 8th.
Other agencies participating in the "Meet and Greet" include Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Sarpy
County Sheriff’s Office, Papillion Police Department, Ralston Police Department, and Council Bluffs
Police Department.
