BPD Meets and Greets Potential Recruits
On Saturday, August 4th, at the Hy-Vee near 96th and Q, Sergeant Larry Lampman and
Officer Bredar met with several potential candidates wishing to apply for the Bellevue Police
Department. The candidates were able to spend as much time with the officers and ask whatever
questions they had regarding employment with the police department and the testing process. The
event was organized by Morrow and Associates,
the search firm which handles BPD recruitment, and
involved several other local agencies who will also be testing this fall. The radio station Kat
103 was on scene doing a live broadcast and Hy-Vee provided food and refreshments for the workers.
Morrow and Associates stated they were pleased with the overall turnout and thought the event was a
great recruiting success.
The Bellevue Police Department is searching for quality candidates and would like
to make the hires this fall in preparation for the basic training class the first of the year in
Grand Island. The cut off for signing up to test is August 24th and Morrow and Associates will not
accept late registrations. The actual testing date will be September 8th. Anyone wishing to apply
should visit Morrow and Associates on line or call them at 402-330-1019.
