Citizen's Police Academy Starts September 5th

The Bellevue Police and Volunteer Fire Departments are pleased to announce a Citizen’s Academy. Beginning September 05, 2007 and continuing every successive Wednesday evening for eleven weeks, ending on November 14th, the Citizen’s Academy will give the attendees an exciting and uncommon access to the inside of modern public safety management. Between 6:00 p.m. and 9:50 p.m. each Wednesday evening, police and fire experts will instruct the class members on everything from department recruiting to high risk arrest scenarios. Whether one is wearing a rescue breathing apparatus or welcoming a police helicopter, the student will be part of the action.

Please contact Mr. Glen R. Truax, Bellevue Police at 293-3071 Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. with questions. Media representatives are welcome to attend the Citizen’s Academy.
