Detective Legband Is Officer of the Quarter

Detective Legband has been named Bellevue Police Department's "Officer of the Quarter" for the third quarter of the year. Four times each year the department selects one officer who has demonstrated performance above and beyond that which is routinely expected. Officers are nominated by their supervisor or a commanding officer. Detective Legband was nominated by his commanding officer, Sergeant Steven Hatfield.

Detective Legband was selected due to his diligence in working a 10-month long investigation of a shoplifting case at Menards, a suspicious death case and his overall superior skills in crime processing.

Sgt Hatfield said Legband is an irreplacable member of the Investigations Bureau. He added, "Detective Legband diligently investigates every case to completion, and puts the needs of the citizens first."
