2007 Crime Stoppers Service Award

The 2007 Crime Stoppers Service Award went to Officer Brown because of his outstanding initiative, decision-making ability, work ethic, and street knowledge. Officer Brown was commended several times throughout the year.

The many incidents for which he was recognized included his response to a domestic violence call with an assault in progress, his follow-up work on a sexual assault, his assistance to Omaha Police to apprehend three suspects fleeing on foot, forced entry of a car with an intoxicated driver, forced entry of a house at a home invasion/assault call, and others. Additionally, Officer Brown has excellent knowledge of search and seizure procedures, he is a Drug Recognition Expert and a member of the South Metro Area SWAT Team.

Sarpy County Crime Stoppers honors one member of each police agency in Sarpy County each year, based on nominations.
