Home > Awards > Lifesaving Ribbon Lifesaving RibbonThe Lifesaving Ribbon is awarded to an officer who resuces or saves the life of another from downing, fire, hazardous material incident, or other extremely dangerous situations. This also includes medical first response lifesaving efforts that contribute to the resuscitation and recovery of patients, victims or suspects. In 2005, two Bellevue officers received Lifesaving Ribbons. Both Officer Holm and Sergeant Larry Lampman are recognized for their life saving actions while responding to a call of an elderly woman who was in cardiac arrest. Upon determining the woman had no pulse and was not breathing, the officers delivered CPR. Because of their quick and effective response, the woman survived. Please check this webpage again soon. We plan to add information about previous recipients of the Lifesaving Ribbon. |
