Lieutenant Chuck Clark

Lt Clark has been with the Bellevue Police Department for 22 years. He currently serves as the Shift Commander for the Uniformed Patrol Bureau’s "C" Team. As Shift Commander, he is responsible for commanding, directing and coordinating his team to ensure efficient, effective and proper police service delivery.

He began his law enforcement career with Bellevue and has served as a patrol officer, DARE Officer, child-victims crime detective, detective supervisor, patrol commander, and Professional Standards Lieutenant. Lt Clark has been a negotiator for the department for fifteen years and leads the South Metro Crisis Negotiation Unit. He is also a member of the state's Critical Incident Stress Management team and assists with debriefings in the Omaha metropolitan area.

Prior to his service with the BPD, he taught high school for five years in Bellevue. Lt Clark has a BS in Law Enforcement and Corrections from Truman University in Kirksville, Missouri, and an MA in Criminology and Corrections from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas.
